This last weekend Shane and I met his dad, mom and Ava in Brownwood at his Granny's house. His aunt, uncle and cousins also came into town for a visit. His Granny had a list of things for the guys to do while we were there..but of course they loved doing them for her! They worked so hard all weekend.
While the guys were working we went into town to get a few things. We went to tractor supply and Ava loved playing with the chicks and ducks! She was so excited to hold them!

Dallas Shower
Well it has been a few weeks since the Dallas shower but I am just getting around to writing about it. Sorry things have been a bit busy! We had a great time at the shower. Shane's sister and brother-in-law, Courtney and Randy, hosted the shower for us at their house. They made AMAZING brisket and sides along with hot dogs for Shane and the kids! It was great to see everyone who came out. My parents were also able to make it. All of Shane's family and friends really enjoyed meeting them. They all thought my mom was my sister! Of course that made my mom happy!! My camera was dead and Courtney was busy being a WONDERFUL hostess that we did not get many pictures.
During spring break I was able to take my Bridal pictures. Joyelle Wright, our photographer for the wedding, took them and she did an amazing job! I really wanted to take them while I was off for the week but didn't realize that I WAS NOT READY FOR THEM! All I had was my dress ready. So the two days before I was running around like CRAZY trying to get everything together. In the end it all came together but I was GLAD they were over!
Well there is still much more wedding planning to do before the big day. I am hoping to get it finished before May...I will let you know how that works out! :)
The only picture we were able to get of the three of us. Ava did not want to take a picture but just wanted to play with her cousins.
Shane was excited to get yet another box of Cheez-its!
